When Stacy Wall and I did the Nike BARBERSHOP campaign, we cast a couple of ringers, comedians that we could use to fill dead spots. We didn’t need them. Tim Hardaway carried the day and precipitated a lot of funny stuff with his knowledge of the athletes and his humor and charisma. He pulled stuff from David Robinson, George Gervin, and the mercurial Dennis Rodman that no one else could have. Tim was the star of the much copied campaign.
