Pat Burnham

Pat had an unusual way of responding.  If he disliked what you were doing he would growl.  If he liked what you were doing he would growl.  There was a difference to the growls.  To understand the growls, watch James Whale’s FRANKENSTEIN, or better, YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN.

Pat’s growls were always on target and brilliant.

He was treated badly by his agency, probably because he was honest and true (Hemingway’s admonition).   I loved working with him on the very few things we did together.
