HENRY KISSINGER
It’s remarkable that Kissinger consented to be in the NEW YORK MIRACLE stuff. Kissinger is one of the seminal figures of the late twentieth century, including his involvement in Vietnam (for better or worse), political interference in South American political upheaval, reception of the Nobel Peace Prize, involvement in U.S. Foreign Policy even to Iraq and Iran, and an infinite amount of other achievements. His schedule gave us an hour or two, but he seemed to have a good time and hung around to see the stunt man and other production details come together. He was a remarkably good sport and actually understood the line, “Derek, who?” The photos of him taken during his heyday in the seventies show a remarkable resemblance to DR. STRANGELOVE. No comment.
